Training is available on both state-funded and fee-paying (contractual) bases. The Department of Faculty Therapy’s postgraduate education is aimed at training highly qualified specialists in medicine, who are proficient in modern technologies for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of therapeutic diseases across various specialties.
The clinical residency programmes extensively utilise active and interactive teaching methods — such as computer simulations, business and role-playing games, case studies, and other trainings- in combination with independent work to develop and enhance students' professional skills. The curriculum includes masterclasses by experts and leading specialists. A crucial element of residency training is practical work with patients; this hands-on experience, supported by departmental staff and the study of recommended medical literature, allows residents to systematise and deepen their knowledge while acquiring a necessary set of practical skills.
